Component of the Administration Board of CNERIB, in accordance with Executive Decree No. 11-396 of 28 Dhou El Hidja 1432, corresponding to November 24, 2011.
The Administration Board, composed of twelve (12) to eighteen (18) members appointed for a term of four (04) years, includes:
- The representative of the supervisory authority, who serves as Chair;
- A representative of the Minister in charge of Finance;
- Representatives of other relevant state institutions, as specified in the institution’s founding decree;
- A representative of the Directorate General for Scientific Research and Technological Development;
- The Director of the institution and the directors of the subordinate research units;
- The Chair of the institution’s Scientific Council;
- Two (02) elected representatives of the institution’s research personnel;
- One (01) elected representative of the institution’s research support staff;
- Experts from the economic sector related to the institution’s research activities, appointed by the supervisory authority based on their expertise.
The full list of Board members is determined by an order from the supervisory authority.
The Board deliberates on all matters concerning the operation of the institution, including:
- Research programs submitted to it after the Scientific Council’s opinion;
- Financial management of the previous fiscal year;
- Forecasts of revenues and expenditures;
- Investment operations;
- Human resources management plans;
- Creation of subsidiaries and equity participations;
- Acceptance of donations and legacies;
- Annual activity report;
- Draft internal regulations of the institution.
The Board studies and proposes any measures aimed at improving the functioning of the institution and promoting the achievement of its objectives.
It provides its opinion on all matters submitted to it by the Director of the institution.
Within the framework of its missions, the Board may call upon any individual who can contribute to the matters under consideration.
